These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Tiny Play Dates ("we", "us") governing your use of the AI & Robotics Lab mobile app and companion service (simbaai.net) (the "App"). By creating an account, tapping "I agree", or using the App, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is intended for families. It is used by children, but a parent or guardian must create and control the account and agrees to these Terms on the child's behalf. By accepting, you confirm you are the parent or legal guardian, or are at least 18 years old.
You sign in with an email address and a PIN. Keep your PIN private and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.
The App pairs with physical DIY electronics kits and an AI voice assistant. The assistant generates responses automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate or unexpected; it is meant for learning and entertainment and is not professional advice. Adult supervision is recommended, especially during building and pairing.
The App lets users post projects, comment, send direct messages, and share images ("User Content"). You are responsible for the User Content you submit and must have the right to share it.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You agree that you will not post, send, or share content, or behave in any way, that is:
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Violating this code of conduct may result in immediate removal of your content and termination of your account.
We moderate community content and provide safety tools in the App:
We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours by removing the content and, where appropriate, removing the user who posted it. We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion to keep the community safe.
Physical kits are sold through the App and our website and paid for via Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout (in SGD unless stated). Shipping, availability, and any refund or return terms are provided at the time of purchase. Kits are physical goods; no in-app digital purchases are offered.
You agree not to misuse the App, including: interfering with or disrupting the service; attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours; reverse engineering the App except as permitted by law; or using the App to break any law.
The App, its content, and the AI & Robotics Lab and Tiny Play Dates names and logos are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for its intended purpose. You keep ownership of the User Content you create, and you grant us a licence to host and display it within the App to operate the service.
We may suspend or terminate access, and remove content, if these Terms are
violated or to protect users. You may stop using the App at any time and can
delete your account and data in the App
(Account → Delete account).
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
If you download the App from the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
